Elementary English Program

Goodtime Chinese School is introducing an English Program at Goodtime Elementary School. In this program, students will learn core subjects in English and have the opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese or Spanish. The English Program will be offered alongside our Chinese Immersion Program, giving families two ways to learn at Goodtime.
Core Subjects Taught in English
Students will develop their reading, writing, and math skills through instruction in English. In class, they’ll have opportunities to discuss what they read, explain how they solved a problem, and share their ideas with classmates.
Optional Foreign Language
Students have the option to take Mandarin Chinese for a beginning language. The class give children regular practice listening and speaking as they build vocabulary and learn about Chinese culture. Children do not need to speak Mandarin before joining the English Program.
